I have a 2009 Camry SE and was curious of this situation. My car does use excessive amount of oil with it burning out fast between oil changes. This is useful information and glad you brought this up. I thought it was my driving habits

Same issue of excessive oil consumption with a 2010 prius. The engine is not the 2az-fe already identified, but a 2zr-fxe.

i am using a quart oil every 300 miles!i just had front and rear seals changed drove 600 miles and used over 2 quarts of oil!its actually worse than before
