2013 Nissan Altima cvt

Issue Status: Discussion

My transmission went out on my 2013 Nissan Altima at 60033 miles! 33 miles over warranty and Nissan wouldn't help at all. Transmission replaced, at 112,000 now and it's acting up again... So afraid it will need another!

I have a 2013 Nissan with 71235 my files on it and the Transmission has gone out only a warranty for 60,000 miles or 5 yearsI need in on any class action lawsuit because Nissan is aware of this issue and will not do anything about it.

I also have a 2013 Nissan Altima. I have been having problems with the transmission since this summer, but no one diagnosed it as such. The transmission failed at 63, 514 miles. No one at the regional department or Nissan cares to help me. I told them that I am now aware of the poor quality transmissions that are used and about current class action lawsuits. They told me to go ahead and file what I wanted to file.

I have a 2013 Altima with 107,000 miles and the transmission has gone out in it. Seeing that it is obvious to Nissan that there is a problem with these transmissions fleet wide there needs to be a remedy. Nissan said my warranty ran out at 60,000. I even purchased an extended warranty when I bought the car to cover repairs to 100,000 miles, and just as so many have had problems, the car broke down right after the warranty period and Nissan said "sorry, but nothing we can do".
