Signed up earlier, still waiting for someone to respond to us, whether an attorney which we signed up to have contact us, or this site???? STILL WANTING TO KNOW STATUS OF THIS CLASS ACTION ON THE FORD CVT TRANSMISSIONS THAT ARE HAVING SO MANY FAULTY OCCURENCES.... THIS LOOKS LIKE IT WAS STARTED SEVERAL YEARS AGO, SO AT THE VERY LEAST WE'D LIKE TO KNOW IF IT'S MOVING FORWARD, ESPECIALLY SEEING EVEN MORE PEOPLE AFFECTED BY THIS CVT TRANS.

My 2007 ford 500 with only 60.200 miles is having problems with going into reverse. Doesn't look good after what I've been reading about the CVT.

2007 Freestyle with CVT problems. Purchased the car in 2009 with 33K and now have 135000. The car has been very good until know. They tell me I need a transmission. Ford does not have new replacement transmissions I am told and only remanufactured from Ford with a 3 year warranty is available. $6100.00 is the installed estimate. At this point the cars resale value is somewhat less than that. Its paid for so I have mixed feelings on what to do next.

had to replace transmission at 60,000 and seem to be having problems with different transmission at 127,00 on it

I have a 2005 freestyle with the CVT transmission. My transmission imploded at 37,000 miles. Wrote to Ford motor company for help and I was told that because this happened after the 3 year 36,000 miles warranty they could do nothing there was nothing they (Ford) could do to help me! I had been a ford owner for 22 years! The Ford dealership wouldn’t even talk to me about it. I took my car to a Lincoln dealership and the bent over backwards to help even sending photos of the imploded transmission that did not help. I had the transmission replaced which cost me $7,100 and that included a discount from the Lincoln dealership! I couldn’t have ask for better a better dealership and for all THEY did for me! I would love to be able to get my 7k back!
